Okay, so Arsenal lost, Chelsea won, and noone gives a hoot to United..

All those bloody buggers there. Yes you. You guys. The ones in red. The ones smirking at Arsenal's loss. The ones in blue. Those buggers in weird deception that their beloved Chelsea is a world class team. Those in white, cheering on their team of pretenders. Yoz, you fellas. Fuck off.

It's probably never felt worse to lose. To lose against Middlesborough. People start questioning, is Wenger finally losing it? I say, no. It's just a bad patch. You don't sell your captain and hope to stabilise that quickly. More to say, such a slump is actually to be expected. Rather than smirking, other teams should really start worrying. When Arsenal get serious the rest of the league is done for. Okay, so Henry didn't play. Okay, so Reyes missed so many chances you can't count them on one hand. Okay, so Juventus fans are thanking the gods they managed to get Vieira. Okay, so the rest of the football world is smirking at Arsenal's loss of Vieira.

Whatever.

No matter how bad things get, or how poorly Arsenal play, I'm still an Arsenal fan through and through.

Get lost you buggers. Await the return of the Kings of Football.

Ahh. So we're talking footie huh?

Okay, I promise to write this in good, perfect English. As perfect English as you can get from me.

Freddie Ljungberg is probably Wenger's best signing, behind Thierry Henry, Patrick Vieira and Robert Pires. Quick on the ball and extremely speedy, he can torment defenders to the same degree as Henry or Ronaldo, best thing is, he plays for Arsenal.

Thus it is pretty convenient for me to have him as my all-time favourite player. Unlike people who keep living with the past, saying that people like Pele, Maradona, or even Beckham are their favourite players, well, to put it rather crudely, they can shove it. Ljungberg's the deal. After all, in terms of ball skills and achievements, he can equal all those stated above. The skill of Pele and Maradona were probably exaggerated down the ages- their skills back then would not have been all that useful in today's world of football. Beckham? What talent? He's virtually the worst right winger I've ever seen in the past decade. Even Steve McManaman plays better for Manchester City.

But alas, Fred Devil, as Arsenal fans affectionately call him, is a class above them. With his surging runs into the box and accurate crosses down the right flank, his enthusiasm and energy adds sting to the fabled Arsenal attack. Henry contributes with his speed. Vieira with his strength and grit. Pires with his silky ball control and vision. Ljungberg complements their talents to a perfect fit. Above all, he is certainly one hell raiser capable of wreaking havoc and striking terror into any defender on his day. He ain't French, but the lack of gallic flair apparently doesn't hamper his chemistry with the rest of the Arsenal team.

The statistics speak for themselves. Ever since he became a gunner in the 1998-1999 season, he has made over 350 first-team appearances and scored 78 goals, with countless assists. For Sweden, he wears the No.9 Jersey, testament to the level of respect the whole team places on him. For the record, he inherited the No.8 Jersey from Arsenal legend Ian Wright, currently Arsenal's record goalscorer (not for very much longer, though)

Off the field, he's certainly squeaky clean, with the closest thing to a scandal being jokes by opposition fans that they "never see him with a girl". Not that the ladies mind. When Mr. Golden Balls was struggling to grow out of the shadow of Mr. Victoria Spice in the USA, dear Freddie easily made it into the hearts of American ladies with his appearances in Calvin Klein underwear ads. You've seen him, I'm sure. I'm not exactly crooked, so I don't think I should comment on his looks. But many female friends of mine all think that he's one "hottie", as they put it. Can Beckham, or for that sake, any other footballer, model Calvin Klein underwear with the poise and class that Ljungberg did? No way.
